Printed graphics, wood, plastics, corrugate and hardware are sourced and scheduled against the metal, inventory is held to your release plan, and the whole program is delivered as one job. One project manager is accountable for the date, so a late outside component does not become your problem.

Fulfillment & supply chain in detail
Late rollouts are usually caused by an outside component that was not on the schedule. Managing the supply chain from here puts the graphics, wood and corrugate on the same schedule as the metal, with one person accountable for the delivery date.
OEM customers use the same service for stocking programs: a blanket order released against a forecast, with inventory held here and shipped as their line calls for it.
